Protein Powered Porridge
PROTEIN POWERED PORRIDGE
(makes 8 ready made breakfasts)!
17g protein per 1/2 cup
*Comfort and convenience without compromising on protein!
What you will need:
1 cup hemp seeds
1 cup ground flax/chia seeds
1/4 cup coconut flour
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup hemp protein powder/unflavoured whey protein
How to do it:
Step 1: Mix everything evenly in a bowl.
Step 2: Transfer to 1 quart mason jar.
Step 3: Store in the refrigerator.
To prepare a serving:
Step 1: Boil water.
Step 2: Mix 1/2 cup cereal with equal parts hot water.
Step 3: Stir in 1 tsp coconut oil, ghee, butter or MCT oil.
Step 4: Top with 1/4 cup coconut milk or other milk alternative to the texture you prefer.
Step 5: Sweeten with a natural alternative to sugar (such as stevia, monk fruit, eruthritol, allulose or glycine)
So delicious and comforting!
Optional: Top with berries
